Background of the Organization

There are 164 financial institutions – Banks, Insurance companies and other non-banking financial institutions, which have hundreds of thousands of employees are working in Bangladesh. It is mentionable that more than half of the population of the country is under the age of 30 years and to involve this large youth groups into the main financial stream of activities of the nation is a great challenge in front of us. It is too hard for the Government alone to face this challenge in achieving the desired goal and therefore in this regard, it is necessary to welcome and encourage the private initiatives. The main objectives of profession are jeopardized in many areas due to the fact that the professionals are not getting proper and systematic trainings.

Academy of Learning Ltd (AoL) is a private initiative in line with the developed global model parallel to Government efforts to face this massive challenge. Academy of Learning Ltd established in 2014 was inaugurated by our chief guest Honorable state Minister of Finance Mr. M. A. Mannan, MP and special guest Mr. M. Shefaque Ahmed, Actuary, Honorable Chairman of Bangladesh Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority (IDRA) was also present at the inauguration ceremony.
